2-Day Bromo Ijen Tour

You won’t believe that enjoying two superb places like Mt. Bromo and Mt. Ijen can take only two straight days and one night. You do not have to worry about your holiday length since this short tour to two magnificent places will take only two days. From Bromo, we will shortly kick off to Ijen area that takes about 6 hours. You will not regret the long travel since you will be able to appreciate the gorgeous scenery along the way to Ijen from Bromo. Around Ijen area, you will feel refreshed to enjoy the beauty of coffee and cocoa farming area. The temperature is ideal and comfortable. DAY 1 – Surabaya/Malang – Bromo

You will be picked up at the railway station, airport or your hotel in Malang/Surabaya area at 00.30. Driving to Cemoro Lawang takes 3 hours, where the car will be changed with a jeep. Around dawn time, it arrives at the viewpoint at Mount Penanjakan. Standing at this peak of mount allows you to see the beautiful scenery of Mt. Bromo and Mt. Semeru all in one straight view.

Going down from Mount Bromo, you will take a short rate for breakfast (prepared in box). You will depart to continue for the next trip to Banyuwangi (4 – 5 hours).

DAY 2 – Ijen excursion – Surabaya/Ketapang Harbor Banyuwangi

The tour starts at around 3 a.m (depend on the condition of Mount Ijen). It takes 1-hour driving from hotel in Banyuwangi to reach Paltuding and heads to Mount Ijen slope. About 1.5 hours slope walking leads you to reach the peak of Ijen Crater. Ijen Crater shows a special type of volcanic feature, about 1 kilometer in diameter and 175 meters deep.

The car then transfers and drops you off at Juanda Airport Surabaya or Ketapang Harbor Banyuwangi.

22 or more days prior to arrival – full refund

22 to 15 days – 25% of the total price

14 to 8 days – 50% of the total price

Less than 7 days or more than 3 days, no show – no refund

A booking fee of USD 50 to cover communication and office expenses will be charged in each case
